Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Eduard in the ProfiPACK edition. It depicts the Avia CS-199, the two-seat training (dual-control) version of the Czechoslovak postwar Avia S-199 fighter. The ProfiPACK edition usually brings photo-etched parts and self-adhesive painting masks along with a decal sheet; the exact contents of a particular package are stated in the manufacturer's catalog.
The Avia S-199 was the postwar Czechoslovak licensed variant of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter. Out of necessity it received a Junkers Jumo engine originally intended for bombers, which earned the aircraft the nickname Mezek, the mule. The CS-199 form is the two-seat training version with dual controls, intended for training pilots. The aircraft entered history among other things through the deliveries to the newly founded Israel in 1948.
Glue the plastic parts with a liquid model cement for plastic. Before painting, fill and sand the joints, apply a primer and spray with an airbrush in thin coats. Glue the etched parts from the ProfiPACK edition with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay the decals onto a gloss coat and fix them with decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
