Resin engines for the B-24D Liberator in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. Accurate fronts for the radial engines; it is not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the engine fronts of the American four-engine Consolidated B-24D Liberator heavy bomber in 1:72 scale. The Liberator was among the most widespread bombers of the Second World War and was powered by four Pratt and Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp radial engines. The part is meant for more experienced modelers who work with resin.
The fronts of the radial engines are clearly visible in the oval cowlings of the Liberator and the way they are rendered rounds out the overall impression of the machine. The resin castings offer finely drawn cylinders and more three-dimensional depth than the simplified plastic from the box. Once painted in metallic shades and brought out with a wash, the engines gain depth and look convincing.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
