This is not an aircraft model but a masking set from Eduard intended for building the Consolidated B-24D Liberator model in 1:72 scale from Airfix. The set contains self-adhesive, die-cut masks of kabuki tape for the glazing and the wheels. It is an accessory that requires a separately purchased base kit.
The masks follow the framing of the canopy glazing, the gun positions and the turrets exactly, so that airbrushing gives you sharp edges on the frames with no laborious cutting of tape. The circular masks for the wheels let the tires and the hubs be sprayed cleanly and separately. Kabuki tape shapes well even over curved surfaces and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off.
First remove grease and fingerprints from the glazing. Transfer the masks with tweezers and press them down so that they seat well in the corners of the frames. Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge. Remove the masks soon after the paint has dried, so that the new layer of finish does not tear.
This is an accessory (a masking set) that requires a separately purchased base kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
