An injection-molded plastic kit of the American twin-engine medium bomber North American B-25J Mitchell in 1:72 scale from Hasegawa. It is a classic injection-molded kit; given the size of the real aircraft it is worth building the model in sections, the fuselage, the wings, the engine nacelles and the gun positions. Check the exact number of parts and marking options against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engine medium bomber and one of the best-known bombers of the Second World War. It became famous for the daring raid on Tokyo in 1942 and for its service in every theater. The B-25J version was the most heavily produced variant; it existed both with a glazed nose and with a solid nose for attacks on ground and sea targets. The Mitchell stood out for its reliability and for the flexibility of its armament.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Given the size, build the model in sections; paint and pick out the cockpit interior and the gun positions before closing the fuselage and mask the clear glazing. Apply a primer and the colors with an airbrush, apply the decals over a gloss coat and pick out the panel lines with a wash. Front-line machines suit a suitable degree of wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
