An aftermarket set of two 3D-printed resin B-8V20A rocket pods in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but external stores for detailing kits. 3D printing faithfully captures the layout of the tubes and the fine surface detail of the pod.
The B-8V20A is a Soviet and Russian pod for 80 mm unguided aircraft rockets (of the S-8 type), with twenty launch tubes. It is used on attack helicopters and ground-attack aircraft to destroy area and lightly protected ground targets.
Separate the parts from the supports, wash and degrease them, and bond them with super glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Darken the mouths of the tubes, tie the body of the pod in with the color scheme of the carrier aircraft and add soot and scuffing around the mouths.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue and the paints are not included in the package.
