Peewit B5N2 Kate 1:72 are precise self-adhesive painting masks for clean masking of the canopy glazing and the wheels of this Japanese torpedo aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks made of thin washi (kabuki) tape from the Czech manufacturer Peewit. It serves for fast and clean masking of the canopy glazing and the wheels when spraying with an airbrush or with a brush. The masks follow the shape of the part well, they hold along the engraved edges and they leave no adhesive residue when removed. They are cut to fit a specific kit of the B5N2 aircraft in 1:72 scale.
The Nakajima B5N (Allied code name Kate) was a Japanese carrier-based torpedo and level bomber of the Second World War period. The B5N2 version with a more powerful engine formed the backbone of the strike squadrons of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service and took part in a number of key operations in the Pacific, including the attack on Pearl Harbor.
For modelers who want sharp paint transitions on the canopy and the wheels without the lengthy cutting of tape. The set saves time and improves the cleanliness of the finished paintwork.
These are painting masks, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
