Resin correct air intakes for the BAe Hawk Mk.I in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires): an accurate replacement for the plastic parts from a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail part for more experienced modelers, not an aircraft model. Accurately cast air intakes replace the dimensionally inaccurate plastic parts from a kit of the British BAe Hawk Mk.I jet trainer in 1:72 scale. The resin rendering corrects the shape and the depth of the side intakes, which tend to be simplified on plastic kits. The accessory is made by the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires).
The BAe Hawk is a British single-engine jet trainer and light combat aircraft that has served with many air forces and with display teams since the seventies. The Mk.I version represents the original British rendering. A characteristic feature is the side air intakes along the sides of the fuselage, and this set brings their shape into the right form.
First wash the part in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue from the mold disappears. Cut the casting block off with a knife or a saw, sand the seating surface and glue the intakes in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fill and sand the transition to the fuselage if necessary. Protect your airways with a respirator when sanding resin.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
