An injection-molded plastic kit of the British BAe Sea Harrier FRS.1 carrier fighter and attack aircraft with vertical and short takeoff in 1:72 scale from Airfix. The model comes from a modern tooling and the package holds decals for two camouflage schemes.
The Sea Harrier FRS.1 entered Royal Navy service in 1980 as a carrier fighter, reconnaissance and attack aircraft derived from the Harrier. It made its name in the Falklands War of 1982, when it operated from the carriers HMS Invincible and HMS Hermes and did exceptionally well in air combat.
Finish the cockpit and the gear bays before closing the fuselage. Gray naval schemes are best sprayed with an airbrush; apply gloss varnish before the decals and even the surface out with a matte varnish. Stores and armament add dynamism to the model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
