A set of 200 liter drums in 1:72 scale. A universal accessory for scenes from the Second World War through to the present day.
Responsibility details are not available.
Drums holding 200 liters were for decades the basic container for fuels and oils. They accompanied army convoys, airfield facilities, workshops and building sites, so they suit scenes from the Second World War through to the present day.
In a scene they work as a full element of the composition. Along a wall or a fence they create a natural boundary for the diorama, next to a vehicle they suggest refueling, and stacked on a pallet or covered with a tarpaulin they become a depot. It is worth thinking about how many the scene can carry: an overcrowded diorama draws attention away from the main model.
Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the surface. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down gently. The recommended glue and the detailed procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions, and the choice always depends on the material of the parts.
The set suits modelers who build airfield and military scenes in 1:72 scale or add small props to the bases of finished models. Unless stated otherwise, the paints, the glue and the vehicle model are not part of the delivery.
