A set of diorama accessories in 1:72 from the Czech manufacturer Hauler, themed around furnishing a bedroom. It is not a model of a vehicle or an aircraft: these are small parts to assemble and paint that fill the interior of a building or an open scene.
In 1:72 the inside of a building tends to be the weakest point of a diorama: from the outside the scene looks finished, but empty windows and doorways give it away. A furnished interior solves that problem and adds a story to a diorama: a living room with a bed and a wardrobe tells clearly where the scene is set and how life was lived in it. The set also suits a backdrop where the furnishings are only partly visible; even then a few clear pieces of furniture are enough.
Work on a light-colored surface and with tweezers; parts in this scale are easily lost. Use a sharp scalpel to separate them, not nippers. Wood is imitated well in a small scale with a base brown over which a dry brush is drawn in a lighter shade; the grain is no longer drawn in 1:72, only the overall tone reads. Fabrics and bedding can be suggested with matte paint and a fine wash into the folds. Paint the furniture and install it before you close the ceiling or the walls of the scene, because after that you cannot get inside.
The set is an accessory for a diorama in 1:72. Paints, glue and other scene elements are not included in the package.
