Bf 109E Exhausts 1:72 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It is not an airplane model but a detail part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin exhausts for the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part with more faithfully rendered outlets, replacing the flat or blanked plastic exhausts from the base kit, not a model of the aircraft in its own right.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German single-engine fighter with an inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine. The Bf 109E version, nicknamed Emil, was among the main fighters of the early Second World War and of the Battle of Britain. The exhaust pipes projected along the sides of the engine cowling, and their shape is one of the striking recognition features of the airframe.
Resin parts need more care than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, carefully separate them from the casting block and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. The exhausts come into their own once painted in dark metallic and rusty shades with the edges lightly picked out; dry-fit the pipes against the cowling to check their angle before gluing.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
