The Bf 109E flaps (1:72, Aires/Quickboost) are a resin accessory for refining the Bf 109E fighter. This is not an airplane model but a detail set for a kit in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set brings separate flaps for a kit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic parts with more faithful castings and makes it possible to show the flaps in the lowered position.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was an early, widely built configuration of the German Bf 109 fighter from the start of the Second World War. It was powered by an inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine and stood out for its more angular wingtips compared with the later versions. Lowered flaps are a prominently visible feature on a model that brings the overall look to life.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways while sanding. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). When showing the flaps lowered, check how they follow on from the trailing edge of the wing and set the inner faces apart in color.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
