Rolling Pin Small Bricks is a texture roller from Green Stuff World with a fine brick pattern. It is neither a compound nor a finished wall; it is a tool with which you press the texture into your own modeling compound.
Responsibility details are not available.
Around its circumference the roller carries a finer brick bond than the basic brick patterns. It is exactly the finer spacing that decides how a surface reads: a coarse pattern on a small model looks like giant blocks, whereas a small brick keeps the proportion. The compound becomes part of the scene, while the roller stays a tool for repeated use.
The finer the brick, the more careful you have to be with a wash, because a heavy wash floods fine joints and the surface turns gray. Use a thinned wash in two passes instead and run a dry brush very lightly, along the edges only. Break the brick shade up with a few darker and lighter pieces, so that the wall does not read like wallpaper.
Modeling compound, a release agent and paints are not included in the package. Clean the roller with a soft brush after work, while the compound is still damp, as dried compound is difficult to remove from a fine pattern.
