Bf 109E gun barrels 1:72 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It is not an aircraft model but a detailing part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of accurately cast resin armament barrels for the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detailing part that replaces the coarser or solid plastic barrels from the base kit, not a model in its own right.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German single-engine fighter with an inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine. The Bf 109E version, nicknamed Emil, was among the main fighters of the opening phase of the Second World War and of the Battle of Britain. It carried a combination of machine guns and wing cannons, whose barrels are among the small but conspicuous details of the airframe.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them free of mold release agent residue, separate them carefully from the casting block and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. Thin barrels are fragile, so separate them carefully; once painted in a metal shade and with the cannon muzzles drilled out, the armament looks markedly more faithful. Glue them on only at the end of the build.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
