This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4, nicknamed the Friedrich. The box holds plastic sprues, a clear canopy part and decals for several marking options, among them a machine associated with an ace named Muller. Mistercraft is a Polish brand of kits from proven older tooling.
The Bf 109F is among the aerodynamically cleanest versions of the famous fighter: it received rounded wingtips, a cleaner engine cowling and the more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 601 power plant. The F-4 version of 1941 to 1942 had the stronger DB 601E engine and better arranged armament concentrated in the fuselage. It was the peak of the Friedrich series and was deployed on every front, from North Africa to the Eastern Front.
Glue the plastic with thin cement, mask the clear canopy part and sand the seams. Paint with an airbrush after a primer; the period RLM shades are typical. With older tooling, check the fit of the parts and fill where needed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
