Bf 109G-10 exhausts in 1:72 scale are resin replacement exhausts from Quickboost for a model of this German fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from Quickboost brings exactly cast exhaust stubs for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but a replacement part that will replace the simplified exhausts from the box with more accurate castings with a fine surface and suggested bores in the mouths.
The Bf 109G-10 was one of the late versions of the most widespread German fighter of the Second World War, powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 V12 engine. Along the sides of the engine cowling it carried rows of exhaust stubs, which are a prominent detail right in the line of sight onto the nose. A quality casting with a realistic shape and individual bores lifts the look of the engine section more than the smooth plastic parts from the box.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent because of mold release residue. Cut off the casting blocks carefully with a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For effect the mouths can be lightly drilled out and brought out with dark metallic and rusty shades.
The accessory is supplied as a resin replacement part, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
