Responsibility details are not available.
The accessory refines the powerplant of a model in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a set with which the engine section is replaced and the view under the cowling opened up.
The Bf 109G-10 was a late version of the German fighter, adapted for higher performance at low and medium altitudes. Machines from the individual plants differed from each other in the shape of the cowlings and in small details on the fuselage; the qualifier in the name refers precisely to production in Regensburg, which has its own recognition features. The engine with inverted cylinder banks is at the same time one of the most interesting places on a model of this line, because with the cowling opened up it fills almost the whole nose.
An engine set only makes sense where it is meant to be seen. Before buying it is worth considering whether the kit allows the cowling to be opened, or whether the builder is prepared to make the cut by hand. It is a good idea to paint the small parts before gluing, bring them to life with a dry brush and draw the pipe runs out with thin wire. In 1:72 scale it is cleanliness rather than quantity of detail that decides: overdone paint fills the shapes faster than you expect.
The machine the set belongs to is not included.
