The Bf 109G-6 cockpit set 1:72 (Aires) is a resin cockpit detail set for building the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from Aires in 1:72 scale replaces the cockpit of the kit with an accurate tub, instrument panel, side panels and seat. The parts match the single-seat Bf 109G-6 version. It is an accessory to be built into a kit, not a model in its own right.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War. The G version, the Gustav, was among the most widespread, the G-6 subversion was built in large numbers, and its hallmark is the characteristic bulged covers over the machine gun breeches ahead of the cockpit. The aircraft was powered by a Daimler-Benz V12 engine.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The interior of German fighters is often painted in RLM 66, and the instruments and details are brought out with a wash and a dry brush. Using masks or decals for the instruments speeds up the painting. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
