A resin control lever for the cockpit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires) — a fine detail for the cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail part for more experienced modelers, not an airplane model. The exactly cast control lever for the cockpit replaces the coarser plastic part from the kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G fighter in 1:72 scale. The resin version has a finer shape and crisper detail, which at a small scale brings the view into an open cockpit to life. The accessory is made by the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires).
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G, nicknamed the Gustav, was the most widespread and most produced version of the German fighter in the Second World War. It was powered by a more capable Daimler-Benz inverted V12 and the machine saw a number of detail modifications. The interior of the cockpit held a great many small controls that are hard to capture in 1:72 scale.
First wash the part in lukewarm soapy water so that the remains of the mold release from the mold disappear. Separate the tiny lever from the casting block carefully with a sharp knife, clean up the face and glue it in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Work with tweezers and in good light, the part is small and easily flies off. Protect your airways while sanding resin.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
