Eduard 1:72 — masks for the wavy leading-edge lines on Bf 109G wings. Pre-cut self-adhesive masks for accurately spraying the characteristic wavy line that marked the boundary between the upper and lower colors. It is not a model, but a painting accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for spraying the characteristic wavy lines on the leading edges of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G wings in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit or a replacement part — it is a painting accessory that takes care of the shape of the dividing line between the light lower and dark upper colors for you.
On a number of G-series aircraft, the color transition on the wing leading edge was not a straight line but an irregular wavy pattern. Such a shape is difficult to spray by hand, asymmetrically on both wings, and the line easily drifts when bending tape over a curved edge. These masks have the wavy line pre-cut, so all you need to do is apply them, spray, and peel them off — the result is identical on the left and right wing and can be repeated on the next model at any time.
For modelers building the Bf 109G in 1:72 scale who want an accurate, sharp, and repeatable masking of the wavy line without laboriously cutting tape with a knife. Especially useful for those planning several G-series aircraft who need the same result on all of them. The set assumes basic experience with an airbrush.
This is not a model. The kit, paints, and glue are not included in the package. Use extraction or a respirator when spraying, and ventilate well.
