The Bf 110E spray mask 1:72 from Eduard: a self-adhesive mask for a clean spray job on the cockpit glazing and the wheels of models of the German heavy fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of accurately shaped self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for 1:72 models of the German Messerschmitt Bf 110E heavy fighter. The masks are cut from quality masking film (of the kabuki type) and serve to mask the extensive cockpit glazing and the landing gear wheels. It is not a model of an aircraft but a practical accessory that delivers crisp glazing frames without laboriously cutting tape.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter (Zerstörer) of the Second World War. The Bf 110E version was among the more capable variants, with a strengthened structure and armament; the aircraft served as fighters, ground-attack machines and night fighters. The long glazed cockpit for two or three crew members is a striking feature of the model.
Degrease the glazing and apply the masks exactly along the engraved frames. Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not seep under the edges of the long cockpit. Lift the masks while the paint has only just set, with a clean pull of the tweezers. The wheel masks allow a crisp transition between hub and tire.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
