This set from the SPACE range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard combines color 3D decals with pre-painted photo-etched parts in steel. The 3D decals are lifted off the moistened backing paper and give the instrument panels, consoles and walls of the cockpit a three-dimensional, layered and color-accurate look with no further painting needed. Multi-point seat belts in pre-painted steel for the crew seats are usually part of it.
Chinook HC.1 is the British designation of the heavy transport helicopter with its characteristic tandem arrangement of two main rotors. The machine serves to carry troops, equipment and underslung loads and is among the most capable helicopters of its class.
The parts are meant for a plastic model of the Chinook HC.1 helicopter in 1:72 scale. Do not dip a 3D decal in water: moisten only the backing paper beneath it, lift it off with tweezers and fix it to the target surface with PVA glue; shape the steel belts and glue them with cyanoacrylate. The color elements need no overspraying. Do not use a decal softener: it would attack the printed resin.
This is a standalone accessory, not a model of the helicopter. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
