Colored raised cockpit interior elements for a model of the Bristol Blenheim Mk.I bomber in 1:72 scale, shaped for the Airfix kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Bristol Blenheim is a British twin-engined bomber of the second half of the 1930s. In its day it was among the fast all-metal machines, but with the arrival of wartime fighters its advantage quickly passed. The Mk.I version can be recognized by the short glazed nose in which the navigator sits beside the pilot; later versions received a lengthened nose. The extensive glazing means that on a model more of the inside is visible than on most bombers, so the interior is worth working out.
The elements replace the flat parts and decals from the kit with a colored version with raised relief. The instrument panel, side walls, seat and belts gain depth and legible detail that is hard to paint by hand in a small scale. The set is shaped for the Airfix kit named in the title; with another kit, reckon on adjusting the shape.
First level the surfaces the elements are to sit on, clear them of raised detail and degrease them. Separate the elements one at a time, settle them dry and only then stick them down. Before applying them, check the instructions to see whether the elements are self-adhesive; the method of application differs from range to range and is given in the instructions for the set. Press them down with a soft stick from the center outwards.
For builders of British aircraft of the Second World War in 1:72 scale and for anyone who wants more than a single-color surface under the cockpit glazing. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
