It is not an airplane model, but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic parts from the kit with crisply cast vents matching the early version of the aircraft.
The Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is an American twin-engine carrier-borne multirole fighter that has formed the backbone of the US Navy strike force since the turn of the millennium. The vents of the environmental control system (air conditioning and cooling of the onboard systems) went through changes on the Super Hornet during production, so the early and the later form differ in shape. This set matches the early configuration.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue and separate them carefully from the casting block; do any sanding with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit the vents in place of the original plastic parts, sand the joint lightly and apply a primer before painting.
