A set of plastic figures of a British reconnaissance team of the Second World War in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It is not a vehicle model but a set of figures that will bring a diorama to life or fill out a scene with vehicles of the same scale. The parts are designed as snap-fit, that is meant to go together without glue. Take the number, poses and weapons from the contents of the package.
Reconnaissance teams had the task of watching the enemy quietly, mapping the terrain and passing information to the command. The soldiers tended to be lightly armed and equipped for observation and signals; their role rested on mobility and concealment, not on direct combat.
Clean up the parting lines; even with snap-fit it is a good idea to strengthen the joints with a drop of glue. Choose a fine brush and acrylic paints for figures, a dark wash in the folds and a dry brush on the raised areas. British uniforms tended to be in khaki and olive tones.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
