This is a small accessory for figures, not a kit and not a whole figure either. The set brings the helmet of British tank crews in 1:72 scale, which you set on the altered head of a commander figure in the turret or use as equipment set down on the hull of the vehicle. The manufacturer makes the same subject in larger scales as well, so you can pick the one that matches your model.
The British tank helmet is headgear for the crews of armored vehicles, not a combat helmet for infantry. It has a low, shallow shell with no pronounced brim, a padded rim running round it and a chin strap; its task was to protect the head against knocks on the inside of the fighting compartment while driving across country, not against splinters. It is exactly that difference which matters when building: combining it with infantry equipment would make no sense on a figure, as it belongs to a vehicle crew.
In 1:72 scale the part is really small, so work with it over a tray and use tweezers. Wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, separate it from the casting block with a new blade or a fine saw and level the mark only lightly, so as not to lose the shape. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue applied on a pin, so that the glue does not run. After a thin primer a base shade, careful highlighting of the rim with a drybrush and a very fine wash are enough; a thick coat of paint would flood the detail at this scale.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a figure. Paints, glue and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
