An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet wheeled BTR-60PB armored personnel carrier in 1:72 scale from S-model. The set in the 1+1 form holds the parts for two identical models, supplemented by a photo-etched sheet and a decal sheet. The concept of a quick build from a smaller number of parts also suits putting together columns and dioramas.
The BTR-60 was a Soviet eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier of amphibious design. The BTR-60PB version received an enclosed armored compartment and a small turret with machine gun armament. Carriers of this series served with the Soviet army and with a number of other states and became one of the most widespread wheeled armored vehicles of their era.
Paint the wheels and the running gear separately from the hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply the Soviet green with an airbrush and add a patina of dust and mud effects using washes and pigments. Two models in the package make it possible to try different color schemes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
