A resin set of wheels with disc brakes for the C-130 model in 1:72 scale is an accessory to a kit you have already bought, not a model. It replaces the plastic wheels with more finely drawn castings.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory from the Czech company Brengun intended for the Italeri kit. The package holds replacement landing gear wheels, not a model. The variant with disc brakes matches the hub configuration that occurs on some machines of this type, so choose the set according to photographs of the particular aircraft you are building.
A wheel is one of the few parts of a model that everyone who picks it up looks at closely. An injected wheel has the parting plane running exactly across the tread of the tire and across the hub, so it is hard to clean up and the relief is lost in the sanding. A resin casting is poured in one piece, with no parting plane across the visible area, and it holds a sharper rendering of both the hub and the tread pattern.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent is gone. On wheels the casting block tends to run along the contact face; cut it off with a saw and level the surface on abrasive paper laid on a board so that the wheel does not stand crooked. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue. Painting is easiest if the tire is sprayed separately, the hub masked with a circular mask or brushed in, and the finished wheel fitted to the model at the very end.
The accessory is supplied on its own and unpainted. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
