The real subject

The Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules is the most modern development version of the legendary four-engine transport aircraft whose roots go back to the 1950s. The J version was given Rolls-Royce AE 2100 turboprop engines with six-blade propellers, a glass cockpit with digital avionics and higher performance. On the Hercules the main landing gear retracts into the characteristic sponsons along the sides of the fuselage, so that it does not intrude into the cargo compartment - and it is these sponsons that the set deals with.

Tips for working with resin

Wash the castings in warm soapy water, cut off the casting blocks with a saw and sand the mating surfaces flat - use respiratory protection while sanding. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and fill and sand the transitions into the fuselage if needed. Apply a primer coat before painting.
