FLY 1:72 Caproni Ca.100 Radial Engine is a short-run plastic kit of the Italian trainer of the 1930s with a radial engine.
Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian Caproni Ca.100 training biplane in the version with a radial engine. The model in 1:72 scale holds plastic parts and decals. As a short-run kit it is meant rather for more experienced modelers, who will appreciate the atmosphere of a less usual subject.
The Caproni Ca.100 was the basic trainer of the Regia Aeronautica in the 1930s. It was derived from the design of the British de Havilland DH.60 Moth biplane, whose wings and tail surfaces Caproni reworked. The machine was built in hundreds of examples and was used for basic flying training. The version with a radial engine is among the characteristic forms of the type.
With short-run kits reckon with more careful cleaning up of the parts and with test-fitting dry where needed. Glue the struts and braces of the biplane with deliberation and take care over the correct geometry of the wings. The rigging wires can be suggested with a thin filament. The fabric-covered surfaces come out with subtle highlighting of the ribs.
The model comes unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
