A plastic kit of the twin-engine turboprop transport aircraft CASA C-295M in 1:72 scale, in Brazilian Air Force markings.
Responsibility details are not available.
The CASA C-295M is a twin-engine turboprop tactical transport aircraft. It grows out of the smaller CN-235, compared with which it has a lengthened fuselage and more powerful engines. It is a high-wing machine with a rear cargo ramp, so the load goes straight into the fuselage and can also be dropped in flight. Its runway requirements are low, which makes it a machine for short routes and field airstrips. It serves in a whole range of countries, among them Brazil, whose air force is the subject of this boxing.
A plastic kit in 1:72 scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and to finish it you will need glue, paints and ordinary modeling tools. The markings offered and the paint list are given in the instructions in the package.
A transport aircraft has large smooth surfaces on which every unworked joint shows, so level the fuselage and wing seams and polish the surface with fine paper. Try the engine nacelles and the wing dihedral dry and glue them only once both sides hold the same; asymmetry is conspicuous on a high-wing aircraft seen from the front. Paint and fit the cabin and the side windows before you close the fuselage. On a model with nose gear, check the balance after a trial assembly and add nose weight if need be, or the model will sit on its tail.
For collectors of transport aircraft in 1:72 scale and for modelers who build the equipment of South American air forces. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
