1:72 Chinook HC.1 National Insignias brings patterns for roundels and technical lettering for a model of the British transport helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
Masking patterns for the national insignia of the Royal Air Force and the technical lettering on a model of the tandem rotor helicopter. Sprayed markings merge with a matte finish and leave no glossy outline behind.
The machines of the Royal Air Force carry circular roundels with a blue and a red field, along with a serial number and a set of small notices by the panels that are opened in service. On transport helicopters, markings by the tie-down points and warnings around the rotor heads are added to that. A dark olive or gray-green scheme lets the insignia stand out, so they matter more than on brightly colored aircraft. The lettering is small, but it is precisely what gives a finished model its credibility of scale.
The set fits builders of modern British equipment and everyone who wants the markings as matte as the rest of the surface. It will also be used by modelers preparing a scheme of their own for a particular machine who do not want to depend on the contents of the box.
