A detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the British Daimler armored car (DAC) in the Mk.I version in 1:72 scale from IBG Models. The kit is marked by fine parts, an elaborate interior made with slide molds and photo-etched elements. The box holds decals for several marking options.
The Daimler Armoured Car was among the most successful British reconnaissance armored cars of the Second World War. It stood out for its good mobility and durable construction, and the Mk.I version carried a 2-pounder (40 mm) gun in the turret. The vehicles served with reconnaissance units on a number of fronts and stayed in service long after the war.
This is a small but very detailed model with fine and tiny parts, so we recommend it to more advanced modelers. Work with a sharp knife and thin plastic cement, and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Finish and paint the interior before the hull is closed. Washes and pigments for dust and mud effects suit the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
