Exhaust stacks for de Havilland Mosquito models in 1:72 scale are a fine resin set from Eduard that replaces the plastic parts with more faithful castings.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin supplementary set for models of the twin-engine de Havilland Mosquito in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft kit but detail parts that replace the plastic exhaust stacks with sharply cast resin parts with the outlets rendered.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine all-wooden machine of the Second World War, used as a fighter-bomber, a night fighter and a reconnaissance aircraft. It was powered by Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines, whose exhaust stacks are among the striking recognition features of the nacelles.
First wash the mold release agent residue off the parts, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The open exhaust outlets come out well once they have been picked out in a dark shade and given a light patina.
The set contains resin supplementary parts only. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
