Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut self-adhesive masks from Peewit in 1:72 scale for models of the German twin-engine Dornier Do 17Z medium bomber. The masks follow the intricate framing of the large glazed nose and cockpit exactly, so spraying gives sharp, clean frames without laborious cutting.
The Dornier Do 17 was a German twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War, nicknamed the flying pencil for its slender fuselage. The Do 17Z version had a widened, heavily glazed nose section for the crew. The type was used extensively in the early phases of the war.
Stick the masks onto clean, degreased glazing on the model and press the edges down firmly so paint cannot creep underneath. Then spray the canopy frames in the airframe color and carefully peel the masks off once the paint has dried. The die-cut shape follows the canopy framing, so the slow cutting of tape with a knife is no longer needed.
It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
