This is a resin kit for experienced modelers in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP. The model is cast in resin and is meant to be assembled and painted; it captures the look of the real subject faithfully.
The model captures a Czechoslovak light reinforced concrete fortification work of the KZ-3 type. Works of this kind belonged to the small fortifications built to protect the borders and rounded out the lines of light fortification. They were small pillboxes for machine gun defense with a modest garrison.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces down (protecting your breathing). It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer is recommended; build the concrete surfaces up by misting light gray and sand tones, bring out the recesses with a wash and suggest dust or mud with pigments. A smaller work comes into its own on a compact diorama, and the surrounding terrain will complete a realistic setting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
