The real subject

The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a compact carrier attack aircraft whose two-seat TA-4F and TA-4J versions served for decades as the standard jet trainers of the US Navy. The OA-4M version of the US Marine Corps then acted as a forward air controller, finding targets and directing the strikes of other machines.
