Enigma 1:72 is a 3D-printed resin accessory depicting the German cipher machine of the Second World War, for dioramas in the small 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed resin accessory, not a working device and not a standalone model. It depicts the German Enigma cipher machine of the Second World War in the small 1:72 scale. It serves as detail in headquarters scenes, radio vehicles and display cases.
The Enigma was an electromechanical cipher machine used by the German army to keep messages secret. It resembled a typewriter in a wooden case with a keyboard, a lamp panel and rotating cipher wheels. Breaking its ciphers is among the best-known chapters of the intelligence war.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and separate them from the supports very carefully; on small pieces warming in hot water helps. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). In a small scale a dark base and fine drybrushing are enough to bring out the shape of the machine.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
