A set of cast resin nose landing gear doors from Quickboost for a plastic model of the American Grumman F-14D Tomcat carrier-based fighter in 1:72 scale. The aftermarket accessory replaces the kit plastic parts with truer castings with finer detail on both the inner and the outer face of the doors of the nose landing gear bay.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was an American two-seat carrier-based fighter with a variable-sweep wing. The F-14D version was the most modern variant, with new engines and updated avionics, operated from the aircraft carriers of the US Navy.
Wash the parts to remove the release agent, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine detail of the doors will stand out after painting and a slight accentuation of the shadows in the recesses.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
