The set contains resin (3D-printed) ACES II ejection seats intended for the two-seat versions of the F-15 fighter (D, DJ, E and I) in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the simplified seats from the box with more faithful copies with sharp detail. The maker is Special Hobby; according to the name the target kit is the one from Academy.
The two-seat variants of the F-15 (training and multirole aircraft, for instance) have a tandem arrangement of two ACES II seats one behind the other. It is the open cockpit with its pair of seats that is so visible on a model, so a faithful rendering of the seats with their harnesses and control handles improves the overall impression considerably.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks, wash them free of mold release agent and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the seats before gluing them into the cockpit and bring out the harnesses with dry-brushing and a light wash to emphasize the detail.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue; paints and glue are not included in the package.
