The set from the resin Brassin range of the Czech maker Eduard contains the airbrakes for the F-16 fighter, cast in high detail. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that makes it possible to show the airbrakes in the open position with faithful internal detail.
A base kit usually offers the airbrakes only in the closed position or with no detail on the inner side. The resin parts make it possible to show the airbrakes opened, with the correct rendering of the inner panels and the hydraulics. The set is intended for F-16 fighter models in 1:72 scale.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent from the mold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the faces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For a clean opening of the airbrakes, try the fit of the parts dry beforehand; apply a filler primer before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without glue or paints.
