Eduard 1:72 F-35B is a set of precisely cut painting masks for spraying the canopy glazing of a model of the Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for painting the frames of the glazed canopy of a Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II model cleanly and quickly. The masks are cut to fit the shape of the canopy, so the slow cutting of strips falls away and the edges of the frames come out sharp and even. Sets of this type usually hold masks for the wheels as well.
The F-35B Lightning II is the version of the fifth-generation multirole fighter with short takeoff and vertical landing capability. It is powered by a single engine with a swiveling nozzle and a lift fan, which lets it operate from short strips and light carriers. The aircraft serves with a number of marine corps and air forces.
Lift the masks off the sheet, place them on the glazed areas and press them down. Lay the paint down with an airbrush in thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge. The interior shade is usually sprayed first and the covering color of the frames afterwards. Once dry, lift the masks off and gently wipe away any adhesive residue.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
