The F-86F-1-NA jet fighter in the personal markings given in the name, 1:72 scale. A finished model, supplied assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector model of the F-86F-1-NA jet fighter in the personal markings of the pilot and the unit given in the product name, dated July 1953. The model from the maker Easy Model is assembled, painted and marked already in production, so building, masking and the application of decals all fall away.
The F-86 Sabre is a single-engine first-generation jet fighter. The fuselage has a direct air intake in the nose, the engine on the centerline of the fuselage and the exhaust nozzle under the vertical tail surface; the wing is swept and has wing fences. The F-1-NA block belongs to the first batches of the F version, that is to the standard with a more powerful engine but still with the original wing layout, which was revised on the later blocks. The cockpit is a single-seater with a bubble canopy and the armament is machine guns at the sides of the nose.
The personal markings of a fighter, that is names, numbers and stripes on the fuselage, are small in 1:72 scale and their cleanliness decides the impression the whole model makes. On a finished model the printing is applied by machine, so there is no risk of lifted decal edges or of bubbles drying in. To make the markings stand out, place the model side-on to the viewer in a display case and light it evenly; harsh side lighting, by contrast, swallows small inscriptions in shadow. Do not go over the printing with varnish or clean it with solvents, as it would be damaged.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. Nothing is glued or painted.
