Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Kovozavody Prostejov representing the early production version Fw 190A-2. The newly developed mold captures the typical features of the early A series machines and the set holds decals for several finishes. A sound choice for collectors of German fighters and for builders who want to compare the individual sub-versions of the Würger.
The Fw 190, nicknamed Würger, from the drawing office of the designer Kurt Tank was among the most successful German fighters of the Second World War. It was powered by the BMW 801 radial engine. The A-2 version was one of the first fully production variants and brought changes to the armament and the systems compared with the very earliest machines; it went into service on the Western Front around the turn of 1941 and 1942.
Dry-fit the parts and join them with thin modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush for smooth transitions in the German camouflage. Bring out the cockpit and the panels with a wash, and on the leading edges and around the canopy suggest service wear with fine scuffs and light pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
