Responsibility details are not available.
A colored photo-etched instrument panel for the Dutch version of the Fokker D.XXI fighter in 1:72 scale. It is a finished cockpit accessory, not an aircraft kit. Thin etched metal with pre-printed colored dials replaces the panel from the kit and, even in a small scale, gives the pilot's compartment a faithful and readable look without hand painting. The execution matches the Dutch machines and differs from the Finnish version.
The Fokker D.XXI was a single-seat fighter with fixed landing gear designed by the Dutch Fokker works in the second half of the 1930s. In the Dutch Air Force it formed the backbone of the fighter defense and saw action during the German attack on the Netherlands in May 1940. The cockpit of the Dutch machines had its own features compared with the license-built Finnish ones.
Break the panel out of the fret, remove the original instrument panel of the kit and seat the new one in its place. It holds best with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue or a glue for photo-etch. Note that this panel is intended for the Dutch version and differs from the Finnish one. The part is tiny, so work with fine tweezers.
This is a detail accessory for a cockpit, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
