Eduard 1:72 GBU-49 is a resin (BRASSIN) set of guided bombs for filling out the stores of aircraft models. This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The resin set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings faithfully worked-out GBU-49 guided bombs in 1:72 scale. The castings capture the guidance head as well as the tail stabilizers and decals as a rule fill the package out. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory with stores for an aircraft kit.
The GBU-49 is an American guided bomb from the Enhanced Paveway II family, which combines laser and satellite (GPS) guidance and comes out of an aircraft bomb of approximately 500 pounds. It allows a precise hit on moving as well as fixed targets and is among the stores of modern tactical aircraft.
Wash the parts clean of the mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Form the tail surfaces precisely, so that the bomb seats on the rack correctly. Lay the paint on with an airbrush and apply the decals over a gloss base.
The accessory is intended for finishing a plastic kit off. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
