A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with markings for German Eurofighter Typhoons of the tactical wing TLG 31, which carries an honorary name after Oswald Boelcke.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Eurofighter Typhoon serves in the Luftwaffe as its main combat aircraft. You recognize it by its delta wing and canard foreplanes. One of the tactical wings that operate it is carried under the designation TLG 31 and bears an honorary name after Oswald Boelcke, the German fighter pilot and tactician of the First World War. The sheet is aimed at the machines connected with this wing.
The markings are prepared for models in 1:72 scale and are applied to a finished, sprayed and varnished model. How many machines and how many options the printing holds is given in the enclosed instructions; use them to check which kit the motifs are shaped for as well. The sheet does not deal with the color scheme of the model; it adds national insignia, numbers and legends.
Go over the surface with a gloss varnish, otherwise a silvered haze will appear under the edges. Cut the motif out as closely as possible, soak it in lukewarm water and, once it has released from the backing, slide it onto the model. In 1:72 scale the motifs are small, so tweezers with smoothed jaws and a damp brush for adjusting the position come in useful. Blot the water away with soft paper; at transitions a softener helps, and once dry, even the surface out with a varnish in the sheen you want. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined.
The package holds a decal sheet. The kit, the paints, the varnishes and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
