The Tiger is a twin-engine attack helicopter of European origin with a tandem seating layout, that is with the pilot and the systems operator one behind the other. The airframe is largely of composite materials, which reduces weight. The German UHT version is intended for supporting ground units and for reconnaissance; it carries a sensor turret above the rotor mast and armament on the stub-wing pylons. Also characteristic are the slender silhouette of the fuselage and the narrow profile seen from the front.
Contemporary vehicles tend to come in a dark low-contrast finish with subdued markings, so the model looks of a piece and it is mainly the shapes that stand out on it. The factory finish is applied evenly and needs no work. Dust shows markedly on dark models, so dust them regularly with a soft brush and without pressure.
