The Aston Martin DB5 is a British luxury coupe of the first half of the 1960s. Under the long hood worked a four-liter inline six, the body followed a design by the Italian coachbuilder Touring, and the whole car was among the most expensive things money could buy on the road at the time. Worldwide fame came to it only with the 1964 film Goldfinger, where it appears with equipment the production coupe never had: revolving license plates, an ejector seat and other pieces. Thanks to the film the DB5 is to this day one of the best known cars of the screen.

Spray the body in several thin coats and let the paint dry thoroughly between them; only that way will the surface stay smooth and the shade even. Finish the interior and the chassis before you close them inside the body, because afterwards you cannot reach them. Glue the clear parts with a cement meant for glazing so that the windows do not go cloudy, and take the protective film or masking off them right at the very end. The chrome parts have a finished surface, so it is enough to separate them carefully and clean them up only on the mating surface.
For car modelers who build in the larger 1:24 scale and will appreciate a model with a richly laid-out interior, and for collectors of cars from the screen. Thanks to the scale the finished model is big enough to show well in a display case.
