A Model Maker decal sheet in 1:72 scale aimed at a Greek F-16 aircraft in the finish prepared for the NATO Tiger Meet of 2018. The item is an accessory for a model, not a kit. Check the particular make-up of the sheet and the number of marking options against the illustration on the packaging.
The NATO Tiger Meet brings together units that bear a tiger in their badge, and its hallmark is aircraft with a tiger motif. The finish tends to cover large areas and extends over much of the airframe, the fin and the upper side of the fuselage included. The Hellenic Air Force flies the F-16 at these events and its machines are among the regularly photographed ones. A tiger motif is largely handled by decals, because spraying it through masks is practically impossible in a small scale.
Tiger schemes have large continuous areas and silvering shows on them at once. The key is the surface underneath. Let the paint cure fully, spray gloss varnish over it in two thin coats and polish any graininess out with a fine polishing pad. Lay the decal onto an area you have first dampened with water holding a trace of dish soap, so that it can be slid freely. Press the water out from the center toward the edges with a soft sponge, and only then reach for a softener. Finish the model with a matte or satin overcoat, depending on how glossy the surface is to be.
The package holds decals. The model and modeling chemicals are not part of it.
